Over the course of this semester, students have read a variety of dystopian fiction, ranging from short stories 'Harrison Bergeron' by Kurt Vonnegut, 'The Pedestrian' by Ray Bradbury, and 'The Lottery' by Shirley Jackson. Anchor texts included 1984 by George Orwell, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.

To wrap up the course, students constructed a dystopia on the topic of their choice and in the medium they felt most comfortable with. Thank you for taking the time to enjoy our work!
